It was a sad day yesterday .
It was a first in our unit when we have to sack 3 Cadet Leaders and removed them for them from the hierarchy chart almost immediately.

I was having my evening class when i received a rather disturbing sms that I have to end my class early. My jaws dropped & my eyes reddened..& rushed to NUH. My ex-student, my ex-cadet and my ex-Cadet Inspector has been diagnosed with cancer..& now he is at the 2nd stage of cancer, Lymphoma.


Lymphoma is a cancer in the lymphatic cells of the immune system. Typically, lymphomas present as a solid tumor of lymphoid cells. Treatment might involve chemotherapy and in some cases radiotherapy and/or bone marrow transplantation, and can be curable depending on the histology, type, and stage of the disease. These malignant cells often originate in lymph nodes, presenting as an enlargement of the node (a tumor). It can also affect other organs in which case it is referred to as extranodal lymphoma. Extranodal sites include the skin, brain, bowels and bone. Lymphomas are closely related to lymphoid leukemias, which also originate in lymphocytes but typically involve only circulating blood and the bone marrow (where blood cells are generated in a process termed haematopoesis) and do not usually form static tumors.


However, he looked fine and his positive attitude towards the whole ordeal .. would certainly make the process of recovery smoother and bearable. All the best Sir..

It has been a long three months since i last updated my blog..

So many have happened since then..

1)I have been selected to be one of the teachers to be featured in the school new publicity campaign...& the same picture (above) is now on the main page of the school's website...hehehe

2)I have bought my first eyewear for short-sightedness

3)I have auditioned for the emcee of the NPAP 2011 but was unsuccessful.

4)I have bought my first items online ..albeit through a friend.

5)I have bought for the first time.. all on my own..an item online...make it 2 items..actually its 3 items including another item for a colleague ,so that we could share the shipping cost & taxes.

6)I have bought my first item through the popular REEBONZ website

7)Then a good friend when Paris & bought me 2 luxurious items

8)Finally found that Pink shoes that i first fall in love with when i saw it in a men's magazine.

9)I have got my hands on those popular Angry Birds Plush Toys

10)I WAS PROMOTED TO A2A....Congratulations to me..

Well...i am back at the helm of NPCC..but with the help of the best colleagues cum TOs who have been with me..since the longest time...Sir Ong & Ma'am Mag..THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!


1) We had our Sec 1 NPCC Camp in March

2) SI Farhan is the sole SPF award winner for 2011...Congratulations Sir

3) We had 2 session of Frisbee for our enrichment programme ..with the help of two of our alumni HJ & RZ..thank u guys..owe u a good makan ...soon..

4) CI Zu & CI Timothy Tan are our best help thus far...Thank u Sirs..we might be paralysed without both of u...

5) We are sending our new batch of CIs sooon

6) The new hierarchy's chart with Cpl Fakhrul as the chairperson

7) The NPCC room were painted with cheerful colours & new furniture ..with an additional electric fan last week

8) We are going to join Area 19 for the HRC

9) Attended my FIRST AC/OC meeting with the chubby one...haha

10) Hopefully a new tshirt soon for the cadet leaders.

Its has been a long 3 months since i last posted my last entry. Today, 8th of Jan..many have happened since.. I just came back from my first parade @HTA.. Its the first weekend of 2011...hahahaa...actually no..its the 2nd week...i got engaged last week ..i have chosen a date for that big day but that would be another 24 months...haha. I have promised myself to start updating my blog more frequently again. Hopefully!
