Saturday, October 31, 2009 Another assignment which was initially due this Wednesday, 4th Nov, has been pushed to Friday the 6th....I should rejoice..but everything is falling on Friday again... I must start working on them soonnnn.... I am feeling the stress...the workshop...the exhibition..the viva presentation ...the deadlines...& the examinations..
Friday, October 30, 2009 Its Friday...just found out yesterday that the opening of my final year exhibition IS 13 november.. Friday the 13th...is it another omen...!!? Another assignment is also due on that date which is actually a reflection writing of the workshop that I will be conducting and recording this coming Friday, the 6th which, is also 'His Highness' second assignment deadline...
Sunday, October 25, 2009 Went for refresher course again yesterday...year after year..same old same old. After reading Shaggy's blog..i decided to write about my experience too. We decided to go on a Saturday, & missing out going with our experts ex-colleagues, cos we have classes on weekdays. I should say it was stricter this time round..no refreshing of memories, no goin thru the procedure..just test straight away! Immediately..no time wasted..but it still went on forever..whole Saturday burnt! I felt the test on the PPE, rope types, maintainance of the ropes & the whole command & respond...was a REAL TIME waster. Imagined having to listen to the whole procedure 12 times over & over like a broken record..sianzz..
The abseil setup station was my last station, & it was that last station that i messed-up! Needed a re-test, the same station i did a retest last year..this time without Sally...haha..
Finally, got my new card.. a little LC if u asked me, comparing to the last one..just my thot lah!
Thursday, October 22, 2009 EMBRACE THE NOW', thats the title of the installation project that my classmates & I have embarked on, collaborating with NYC. It will still be on till 28 Dec 2009. All the installation works can be found at *SCAPE, Somerset Road, behind Orchard Cineleisure.
My team, of Selvi & myself , have decided to conduct a workshop that will eventually lead to an installation project at the *SCAPE park together with my classmates' masterpieces.
During the opening last nite, we gave a brief introduction of what participants can anticipate in my workshops..
Our Guest of Honour Prof Lim-Teo Suat Khoh, Dean, Academic, NIE, in pink, & 2 VIPs gave thair hands inprint to jump start our workshop, titled "WHO AM I?"

My 14-year old nephew gave me a treat of Magnum ice-cream with his Hari Raya collections..yummy!! Thanks Izaat.
While her 7 year-old sister, told me to choose a VCD of my choice while she selected 2 Upin's VCD , & put it all in her account, rented them for a few days...hehe...with her Raya collections too. Thank you Aleesya!

My first visit to Mis's, its really beautiful...but just like last year i have to skip 2 homes cos i need to rush for class...in my festive attire...haha..
After class, another ex-colleague & a good fren, picked me up with his newly acquired licence...congrats..
Also..congrats on ur new destination next year..good luck!
