I had missed the inaugural get-together of my secondary school mates a few months back, so when they decided to have another one..i promised myself that i will not miss it this time..haha
 It was really nice to meet them again...although we came from different classes..most of us at the table do have something in common...we were from the same CCA..NPCC..haha
Well, i supposed some of us do change physically but our personalities are still intact. We have a few HODs in presence, also ex-teachers..hahaha.. an ex-classmate also became a doctor..another had passed away... There were so much catching-up to do, loads of updates, some of us have not met each other for almost 20 years...that's really long if you ask me.There were so much laughter, reminiscing the past, thinking about the truancy, the performance during school events, the long walks after school, the cat-fights with broken nails...the crushes and infatuations, the almost hook-ups & of course our favourites teachers & least favourites lessons...too little time, too much to talk about..
 ..therefore we have decided to meet up before the year ends, hoping it will attract more attendees.The next meet-up will be at my humble abode for a potluck session. Till we meet up again guys..and ladies. Labels: SSS

 After Aidiladha's prayer, I went to my 4th sister's house for Hari Raya goodies of ketupat & rendang, cos my other sister was visiting my elder sister in Muar..hahaha... Well...did not participate in the qurban ceremony this year cos..no reason..haha..just did not feel like it.

 Was introduced to Ruby Bloom yesterday by my niece.
"Look on the bright side" is a phrase she chants like a mantra, and it serves her well. There isn't a single thing in the world that gets her down or a single negative that she can't turn into a positive.
She's quirky n interesting at the same time..must try to catch her more @ octo this holiday..haha

I was awakened by a strange phone call this morning..it was REALLY early considering its the holiday. It was from my neighbour who has lost his wallet. Chanced upon him at the lift on my way to class last nite. He began asking me questions, fast & furious.. "Was i holding my wallet when u saw me yesterday?" "Did you see my wallet downstairs?" Well...I would have returned to him immediately if i had..APA JERR!!..haha Anyway..really hope some kind soul with conscious will return his wallet.

Opps..i have forgotten to talk about my installation work..
Well its entitled 'Do I need more friends?'
 Artist statement
I am peeved at being constantly asked, “Do you have a Facebook account?”
My reply is always short & terse, “I have enough friends already, thank you very much!”
A friend noted how Facebook allows people who are shy socially, the opportunity to make themselves better understood.
It allows them to keep in touch with current friends and to reconnect with old ones.
So, if Facebook is God’s gift to friendship and social harmony and cementing friendships in cyberspace, what's wrong with me?
Why am I resisting?
So I decided to embark on this project in order to find out and started an account myself.
It's impossible for anyone to have hundreds of 'friends' in real life but in Facebook, it's not uncommon. I really feel that the notion of friendship is being devalued.
Maybe I'm small-minded and small-hearted, but I'd rather keep my group of friends as it is - small and select.
True friendship requires maintenance and already it's hard work sustaining those I have in real life.
Do I want to expose myself so that 'friendship' is expected of me from former classmates I no longer desire to be in contact with, from colleagues I don't wish to get to know better, from work contacts I have zero inclination to convert to friends and from acquaintances who should remain just that?
The beauty about real-life friendships is that they can die. As we move along in life, some friendships fade, others expire and there will be those you deliberately erase. People change, you change, it's sad we're no longer friends but it's nothing personal.
Clearly Facebook is a godsend for millions of people. It builds friendships, alleviates loneliness and even gives meaning to one's life.
It's just not for me…I might just update my real friends’ mobile number from my FB account & let the account die a natural death soon.

Ben & Derrick were cycling in my vicinity, on Saturday afternoon, when they decided to pay me a visit. Luckily I was at home as I was trying, rather relunctantly.. to complete one of many assignnments ...
It has been really long since i last meet up with them. They were my artist in '06 when they were in sec5...now they are in their final year in poly...& are going for the medical check-up soon..for NS of coz!
