I received a loooonggggggggggg sms yesterday about school matters before i even stepped into the school..Merepek kan..
It was about a meeting next Friday..supposedly my 2nd day in school..a camp during the June holiday and an upcoming project that i have to get myself involved in & the deadline too...apa jerr...
Sms-ed my good fren, my HC ex-neighbour, & she immediately could identified the sender..Some things just do not change...she added..well i agreed totally.
Although i am looking forward to teach again...but these sms-es which i reckoned will be part & parcel of my life soon..is something i dreaded ...hhahhaaha...good luck to me..Labels: School

Finally...my own ezlink card. An excuse to alter my habit of supporting the cab industry..haha Its only $50 per month for unlimited bus rides...my ex students in poly can so relate to this card...well...i have one now too. NO MORE CAB FOR ME..i promise..

Another meet up...it was a really boring evening when i was chatting with my ex artists...& since it was dinner time, i suggested that we met up for dinner.  My ex-colleagues and I went to JB this afternoon, to jalan-jalan & makan-makan @ Jusco. In the car, Mis suggested a detour to Madam's house in JB, the driver for the day, to look @ her new semi-D house. There i was standing in front of the house..impressive rite!
Just waiting to be invited to her new house after it is completely renovated & fully furnished..i hope i dun have to wait for another 7 years..hehehehe

Attended the outdoor refresher course today, there were 10 of us from ZH, ..from SL comm & the PE dept. I have had this license since 2002 & have been renewing it annually since. The course wasnt smooth sailing for me as i was sent off immediately at my final station. I was told to go for a retest before i could even start on the procedure because i did not not lock on the carabinas!!! I have not even started!! I did not want to create a scene, i know i could but i was bigger than that.
I passed the retest, of course, because i wasnt assessed fairly earlier. Labels: School, Syawal 08

Kena complaint again..by a parent..who called the school & said i didnt issue any consent form for their late stay in school. I was having NPCC camp over the weekend & allowed my artists to stay over too BUT with their parents' permission of cos!!.. as they are all at least 17 years old or older. Anyway, Miss V called & informed me about the complaint & told me to call the parent to settle the issue. With the no. in hand i called the form teacher & requested that she helped me instead. To make a looooooooong story short, it was apparently an aunt of a student who supposedly called on the mother's behalf. This made the students really angry & embarrassed at the same time...well...all are at peace now. Tho now the student & the aunt are NOT in best of term..Labels: ART, School

I had a weird dream last nite. I was posted to a new school already..BUT..my friends were all there..the English teacher, the F&N teacher & a Maths teacher.
The layout of the staff room was different, with hideous table cloth AND i was sitting all by myself. In my dream, i seem to be unaware of the school time table and activities..the whole school population were walking to school from its old location while i was in school to help the delivery of 2 babies in the classroom..weird rite..its out of the world bizarre!!Labels: Me, School

Heard some unkind words after my departure. Received callous and mallicious tag, questioning my action and intention.
However, I am blessed that i have concerned and benevolent friends, supportive families and warm and affectionate students, that allow me to stay strong. Many encouraging sms-es from frens and artists made me even stronger;

Met OPS in the kitchen this afternoon when an ex student called & said she wanted to meet me. . she arrived with 3 stalks of roses & 2 mini cakes.
She has never been in my class before but i have worked with her in a few SL projects. Her sunny personality & ebullient disposition always brighten up any events or meetings.
Thank you VC..really appreciate the kind gesture.

My form class threw a farewell makan session yesterday with pizza & snacks. Thank you Miss C, my co-form to coordinate the session. There were definitely lots of pizzas..i will really my form class, heir smart aleck retort, their supposedly know-all attitude & of course their warmth..hehe.
Thank you guys for making my last form-teachership a smooth sailing one..& for the rest of you who are celebrating their birthday from August onwards..Happy birthday in advance, well u could always sms me to remind me..& yes i remember the ONG twins..i still owe both of u a pair of presents..fret not.

I was @ TPY area on Sunday morning when i chanced upon the YESCOM 2008 Grand Finale, where more than 30 schools took part. Our school's entrepreneur club under the guidance of my fren MR M, was one of many schools that took part, marketing the badges that they are synonymous with.
I of coz showed them my support by patronizing a few badges & even had my foto taken with my nieces, & had them photoshop, to be framed up later.
The results for the competition will be due in about 2 months time.

My morning started quite differently today.
First my sole came off as i was walking out of my void deck that i had to rush back home. Just like my cobbler said to me.." u have so many shoes until u forgotten some of them"...hehe..quite true.
Had to call the cab immediately while i rushed to change into a new pair, so that i'll be punctual for school.
Anyway once in the cab, the driver asked me where i was heading..
"Senja Road." i answered briefly..
"..oohh coffee shop har..?" he inquired further.
"NO!!..school!!" i answered defensively.
Me..work in a coffee shop? Did i look like..?..before i could finish my thought..the driver apologised & blamed it on the aromatic scent of the curry puffs .
He was of course refering to the dozen of curry puffs i had with me for my friends for breakfast. These delicious and mouth-watering puffs always cheer up my friends' mornings, anytime...hehe..i guess im gonna miss these moments too when i dun have my friends to share my puffs in the future..

I was told 2do up the CLC room many months ago but only managed to complete it last saturday..

The motivatonal words were carefully selected and our P's favourite HAS to be included , ie. NO discipline No Learning!
I remembered reading a book given to me by my HC ex neigbour many calendars ago. The Book was THE RULES OF WORK, & in one of the chapters it touched on how to get work noticed.
Rule 1.1- make sure your name is prominently displayed.
AND SO I DID!!
Well next time if u enter the CLC room, look up to the ceiling, my name cannot be missed..hehe

I REALLY MISS MY HC EX-NEIGHBOUR!!
... REALLY!!
When school starts, a relief teacher took over the very seat that my HC neigbour once resided ..but it would NEVER be the same. On the 1st day she had already pissed the tranquil lady on her right.
Yesterday, as the ever helpful TA was about to assist me with some IT matters, she interrupted us & said as she was still holding the phone that she was looking for the TA too..& droned on with her request :
1) A laptop
2) An edumail account
3) A sharing folder...
&..HEAR THIS , the last request WAS THE BEST!!
4)A HEADPHONE ..& then she added , "...its rather NOISY here..!".
Defintely loud enuf for my other neighbours to hear, Bernice's mum & the newly wed, & of cos me!
"Headphone??"..our TA echoed in stupefaction!!
We were perplexed with her request too...!!
Like what Bernice's mummy said pertinently..." I"ll talk as loud as i want, whenever i want it..without anybody's permission...!!"
..or to that upshot...hehe..i've learnt from my HC ex-neigbour to add extra spice or many degrees higher when retelling a story.
Well..we all miss my HC ex-neighbour already!!!

I received a very pleasant surprise this afternoon.. a very belated birthday gift from a dear friend who hasnt been around for the longest time.
Thank You maam..it was very thoughful of you.
Today was her first day in school since the school starts..& she looks as radiant and ravishing as ever.
She told me to immediately open her present , afraid that i might have what she had meticulously wrapped this time round. I was so ecstatic that it was another crumpler..an additional to my collection of at least 18 pieces of CRUMPLER items which include sling bags, water bottle holder, bean bags & a few limited editions & a personalised piece.
TERIMA KASIH PUAN TAN..u put me in a rapturous mood.

My HC ex neighbour achieved her high when she managed to scale the natural rock wall of Batu Caves, during the SL trip exactly a week ago. However, my high for that trip was more manageable and less strenuous. I didnt expect flying a kite could be an unwinding experience as i witnessed it soared up into the sky & became less visible, until there wasnt any more line to ascend it higher..
I felt lousy that i didnt push myself to shin myself up those rocky, sharp and towering natural rock wall of Batu caves..maybe if there is an another opportunity , i would definitely do it again, do it better..Labels: School
