I had an apointment with my NIE practicum supervisor yesterday afternoon..well thats another posting.
Anyway, since it was the school holiday i brought my 2 nieces along to NIE, to show them where their uncle is pursuing his higher education. Showed them the lecture theatres, the many art studios, the sport facilities and of coz the canteen which was undergoing a refitting.
I want them to be inspired, to aim for the best in life and realised that education is the most important thing in life & it doesnt stop even when u reached a certain age & their uncle IS a VERY good example.
I was chatting with my ex-head before i went to NIE.
She mentioned that my nieces were lucky & wished that she had an uncle like me.
I replied that I would also like to have an uncle LIKE ME....hehehe..seriously.
YEs. Seriously!
