Was watching Bed of Roses last nite on cable & realised that i enjoyed this simple romantic movie.It is about a florist boy who likes to take walks in the middle of the night and look up at people's windows. One night he sees a girl crying and decides to send her flowers. And so a budding romance develops. His infatuation with her borders on obsession and this ends up scaring her away, at least initially...but of course it has a fairy tale ending.
However i was fascinated by the movie's poster..or rather the similarities between these 2 movie posters, the main characters frolicking on rose petals..although American was made 3 years later after Bed of Roses.
Similarly I was equally intrigued by an advertisement, that was inspired by Mena Suvari. It was for a fat-free yogurt. Well, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder..you decide...hahaha
