It was officially the 3rd day of my LOA.
Decided to stay longer in bed and NOT set the alarm..and in the process accidentally put my mobile into silent mode.
Anyway..woke up at 9.56am & confronted by 14 missed calls..from 6 different numbers and 4 urgent-sounding sms.
I NEVER FELT SO WANTED AND MISSED...hahahhaha.
Well the calls were from the school, the P, CSO, CT, ST, OM..all the acronyms u can find in the office.. i immediately called the ST who was overally in charge of us. She told me to read my email..an urgent one..
SO urgent that she cannot say it over the phone.
SO urgent that it wasnt convenient to convey the urgency immediately to me.
SO URGENT that it was 'faster' for me to switch on my lappy, log on to my mail & read her email.
SO URGENT that she needed to speak to me at 8.08am, 8.14am, 8.25am, 8.26am and 9.02am BUT NOT AT 9.56am..
Well..CUT the story short..i ended up apologising to the P and the ST. Apparently I was supposed to report my health before 8am EVERY morning during my LOA period which NO ONE told me about...SIAN..
